European Conference of Science Journalists (ECSJ)

Die 3. European Conference of Science Journalists (ECSJ) wird als Teil des EuroScience Open Forums (ESOF) am 23. Juli 2016 in Manchester stattfinden.

Die ESCJ, die gemeinsam von der Association of British Science Writers (ABSW) und der European Union of Science Journalist Associations (EUSJA) organisiert wird, verfolgt vier Hauptziele:

• Aktuelle Themen des Wissenschaftsjournalismus diskutieren
• Nachwuchsjournalisten ermutigen und sie mit handwerklichen Fähigkeiten ausstatten
• Berufliche Weiterbildung fördern
• Journalisten mit Kollegen vernetzen, journalistische Geschäftsideen entwickeln
